I immerse myself in the landscape until the energy, essence and emotional resonance flows out in splashes of colour and voluptuous shapes. These take form as mixed media paintings and photographs and can also emerge as sculptures of wood and stone.
Having recently moved to North Wales, my first impressions and responses are emerging through my camera lens. My camera is my paintbrush, capturing fleeting splashes of colour and light to reveal the emotional essence of a place, opening viewers’ perceptions to different perspectives.
